In cooperation with Planet Patchwork and The Quilt Channel, Quiltropolis is pleased to announce its new Textile Only Banner Exchange program. 

The exchange program allows you to register your banner (such as the one above) and have it rotate on other members’ websites at no cost, in exchange for displaying network banners at your site. Currently for every two (2) banners a member website displays, their banner will display once on the network. Quiltropolis reserves 30% of the banner display space for its (textile only) paid banners. Currently the network includes such high volume sites as Quiltropolis, Planet Patchwork, and The Quilt Channel, along with many other members.

The banner program is similar to other exchanges on the web, but it is different in its emphasis on textile sites. In order to participate, websites must be related to quilting, sewing, weaving, knitting, or any other textile-related field. This means that ads appearing on your site will be related to the interests of your visitors, and there will be no “irrelevant” banners for mortgages or credit cards (or anything else) in the rotation. This emphasis also guarantees that your banners will appear through the network to a highly targeted audience interested in textile arts.

Upon registering a new member or banner the Quiltropolis staff will review the banner/website for compliance with the exchange agreement. If there are no problems we will release the banner to the network. In order for your banner to appear, you must place the banner code (provided as part of the sign-up process) on your site. This is a simple cut-and-paste process which takes only a few minutes. If we have any questions about your application, we will contact you at the e-mail address you provide.

If you wish to be a part of the program but don’t want advertising on your site, paid banners are available on a cost per click-through basis. This means you only pay for actual clicks that bring visitors to your site. For further information on paid ads, e-mail sales@quiltropolis.com.
