One-Day Mystery Returns!
The Chat Room is down. We apologize, but due to technical difficulties, we have had to abandon our attempts to maintain a chat room for this event. We will try to find an alternate chat facility for our next one-day mystery. Prize winners of the hourly door prizes can be found here!
PART 4: It's Not What You Think!
It may be helpful to use masking tape to mark off the ruler at the 4 1/2" lines. It will make it a bit easier to find the correct spots on the ruler. Follow the photo carefully, and be sure to trim them all exactly the same! Next, trim each of your larger 9-Patch blocks to exactly 6 1/2" square, following the same procedure as above. This time the alignment should be a bit easier, because you can now match up each corner of your 6 1/2" square ruler with the seams.
At 2 p.m. Eastern Time GO ON TO PART 5!
Merry May is an award-winning quilter from historic Tuckahoe, a rural
town in southern New Jersey. She has been writing mystery quilt
instructions since 1992. Merry has presented lectures and workshops
throughout the East Coast of the U.S., including the Vermont Quilt
Festival in 2002 and 2003. If you are interested in booking Merry for a
visit to your quilt guild, or if you would like to arrange for a
licensing agreement in order to “share” this series with your fellow
guild members, you may contact her by email at:
inspectr@delanet.com or
by telephone at (609) 628-2256 (Schoolhouse Enterprises). Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for your support, both past and (hopefully!) in the future. Best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year from the staffs at Planet Patchwork and Schoolhouse Enterprises.
