NEW! TOY CAMERA DARKROOM CLASS BEGINNING FEBRUARY 16 PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN CLASS STARTING DATE This class will show you what to do with those 120 negatives you get from your Holga and Diana through a hands-on darkroom course of seven weeks on Tuesday nights. Learn vintage wet darkroom techniques and make stunning prints from your toy camera negatives!

7-week Wednesday evening photography and darkroom class beginning
Wednesday, February 17. (Please note, this is a change from the
earlier starting date). This
comprehensive course will teach you all the basics black and white
photography, including darkroom skills and techniques. Class time will be from
6:30 - 9:00 p.m. The class is taught by local Atlanta

634-1252. BEGINNING TOY CAMERA CLASS OFFERED AGAIN ON JANUARY 9, 2010 A three-hour introduction to toy camera photography will be offered again on Saturday, January 9, 2010 from 9 a.m. to noon. Taught by Rob Holland, the class will offer hands-on tutorials on loading, shooting, and unloading Holga and Diana cameras, and will feature a shooting session during class. Students will bring their exposed film back to the shop for free development and will be able to see the results in class. Other topics include the history of toy cameras, a survey of books, websites, and magazines, toy camera workflow options, and other information and lore. We hire experienced, enthusiastic, and friendly instructors. Currently classes are taught by Decatur photographers Phil Mosier, Maureen Holmberg, Joe Aczel, and Rob Holland. As we hire additional instructors, we will be offering additional classes in special techniques and approaches to photography. Check back here for new offerings.
Darkroom Use By Students All current and former students in classes at The Camera Doctor may rent darkroom time at a rate of $5.00 per hour. Available darkroom hours are:
