The Ring of Kerry

The Ring of Kerry, a beautiful coastal mountain passage with breathtaking views, was the source of a lot of oohs and aahs among the DHS band. Particularly captivating was the first moment we caught a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean from its eastern shore.

 

Everyone of course had to have their picture taken. Tim Anderson does the duties for Linda and Jim Streeter.

 

 

 

 

 

Eventually we came down out of the mountains long enough to stick our toes in the water:

We had a hard time getting everyone back in the buses after they had a taste of the salt air and cool sand between their toes. Rocks from the beach were a favorite collectible. I think we brought back half of Ireland.
