“Broken Windmill”
(12" finished block, Make one block)

(B) Green
Cut 5 squares 3 7/8", cut once diagonally

(D) Yellow
Cut 4 squares 3 1/2"

(F) Blue
Cut 2 squares 3 1/2"
Cut 5 squares 3 7/8", cut once diagonally

Assembly & Block Construction of the Broken Windmill Block

1. Sew (1) one (F) Blue half square triangle to (1) one (B) Green half square triangle. See diagram 1 for placement.

2. Measurement check – should measure 3 1/2" square.

3. Repeat step 1 (9) nine more times for a total of (10) ten units.

4. See block construction to sew the blocks into rows and sew the rows together to complete your block.

5. Measurement check your block should measure 12 1/2" square.

YOUR block is complete!!
