International Quilt Festival, Houston, November 2001

On this page are links to ten of the hundreds of outstanding quilts which blessed the aisles of this year's International Quilt Festival in Houston. The creativity of the world's quilters is truly remarkable, and the stories of these quilts, included here, will inspire quilters around the world to continue the important work of the spirit they engage in every day. These selections were necessarily arbitrary, based on what attracted our eye and appealed to our sensibility. Click on the thumbnails below for larger images and narrative where available.
